We’re not just a tiler and a tech-geek, we’re seasoned culinary adventurers with a shared love for new flavours and timeless classics. I’m the sort of bloke who enjoys experimenting with spice racks and exotic recipes when I’m not tinkering with tech. Rob, on the other hand, has been keeping Bumbas in Rawtenstall buzzing for over a decade. Born and bred here, we’re two local lads from families of food fanatics.
We’ve always dreamt of owning our own place. So, when the opportunity arose, we jumped at it quicker than a seagull on a hot chip! We’ve crafted a menu that’ll make you reminisce about the good old chippie flavours, while also tickling your tastebuds with our unique twist. Our pièce de résistance is the “7 Fishes of the World” – a specials menu that brings you the familiar delight of fish & chips with an international twist.
Since flinging open the doors to Rabs, we’ve been busy bees, constantly refining our recipes to ensure every chip is crispier, every fish is flakier, and every dish is tastier than the last. We’ve also been busy inventing new dishes like the Chicken Munch Box and the Chicken Poutine – a must try, if I do say so myself.
But don’t think we’re done yet! We’ve still got a truckload of culinary delights up our sleeves. There’s plenty more to come, so keep your eyes peeled!
